Overview
Aeralis uses profiles to store your preferences for email generation. Each profile has a short user-typed writing style hint, an "About you" context line, and optional grounding tools that give the AI extra context. Aeralis also learns your voice automatically from threads you participate in.

Setting up a profile
1. Tell Aeralis about you
Add a one-line "About you" — a sentence about who you are and what you write about. Aeralis uses this as context when drafting. Example: "I run a SaaS company. Mostly customer emails and partner outreach."
This field is optional but improves quality, especially early on.
2. Set your writing style
Write a short hint in the How you write field about your tone, sign-offs, and length. Example: "Short and direct. Casual sign-offs. No 'I hope this finds you well.' Skip greetings on quick replies."
This is also optional. If you skip it, Aeralis still learns your voice automatically from threads you participate in. The typed hint just locks in tone faster.
See Writing Style for the full guide.
3. Configure grounding tools
Add external knowledge to your emails:
| Tool | Description | Available On |

| Google Search | Include up-to-date information from the web | All plans |
| Google Maps | Add location-aware context and recommendations | All plans |
